Power distribution under high load starts with safe, robust materials

Power distribution in AI data centers must stay reliable under continuous high loads. Uninterruptible power systems (UPS), switchgear and power distribution units (PDUs) require consistent performance in demanding conditions. In extreme conditions, materials must help prevent flame spread.

Our flame-retardant polycarbonate grades meet UL 94 V-0 requirements and offer long-term heat resistance. Glass-fiber reinforced options add stiffness and impact strength for robust housings. Together, these properties help keep power distribution stable over long service lifetimes.

Cooling and control systems keep hot spots in check and make issues visible

Cooling and control systems are critical to keep equipment within safe operating limits. Components like controllers, sensors, circuit breakers, and VFDs often operate close to heat sources, where hot spots can develop.

Our polycarbonate solutions combine heat resistance with dimensional stability to help reduce warpage during long-term operation. We also offer transparent flame-retardant polycarbonate used for viewing windows to support quick visual checks.

Servers and Data Storage: mission-critical high performance with reliable materials

In server and data‑storage environments, space is limited, and components must consistently deliver precise fit, robust performance, and long‑term durability. Parts such as air ducts, HDD/SSD trays, front bezels, and light guides must maintain tight tolerances within compact layouts while enduring repeated maintenance cycles.

Our polycarbonate solutions provide the durability and design flexibility required for these demanding applications. They offer exceptional impact strength, flame retardancy, high heat resistance and excellent processability—enabling thin‑wall structures and complex geometries.

For advanced thermal management, our thermally conductive materials can be molded directly over printed circuit boards to efficiently dissipate heat and streamline assembly processes.

Lower‑carbon materials for Green data centers

Low-carbon design starts with the careful selection materials for every component, especially for Servers and Data Storage which are high-energy-consuming devices as the backbone of digital infrastructure.  

We offer our bio-circular attributed content (RE) series and post-consumer recycled (PCR) polycarbonates. These sustainable material options help significantly reduce carbon emissions without compromising on performance. We support customers in advancing toward greener data centers while maintaining the reliability and durability required for mission‑critical operations.
