Product description
Ultracel® 2016 is a reactive polyether modified with styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) polymer, having approximately 8.5% solid content.
Applications
Ultracel® 2016 is specifically designed for the production of Desmodur® T 80-based high resilience slabstock foams.
Form supplied
Ultracel® 2016 is an opaque, white liquid.
Sampling
Moisture access must be prevented when taking product samples.

Storage
Storage time
Covestro certifies that the product meets specifications for 12 months from the date of shipment, provided it is stored and handled in accordance with the conditions specified in the ‘Storage’ section. After this period, product performance is not assured; Customers are responsible for retesting material before use. Covestro assumes no liability for product performance after 12 months.
Processing
Recommended temperature for processing: 20-25°C
When used in combination with Arcol® Polyol HS-200, it delivers improved processing stability, maximum flexibility in density adjustment and optimized hardness control.
Ultracel® 2016 has been designed for apparent densities of min. 28 kg/m³. For lower densities the addition of a suitable antioxidant is recommended.
