Applications
Mondur TD 80 Grade B diisocyanate (increased acidity) is used to prepare prepolymer resins which are subsequently formulated into coatings, adhesives and sealant systems. As with any product, use of Mondur TD 80 Grade B diisocyanate in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Storage
Mondur TD 80 Grade B diisocyanate must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from moisture and foreign materials. TDI will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Storage temperatures should be controlled at 21° to 43°C (70° to 110°F) to maintain product quality. For extended periods, it is recommended that a temperature range of 25° to 35°C (77° to 95°F) be maintained. The shelf life is twelve months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
