Mondur® MR is a polymeric aromatic isocyanate based on diisocyanate of dephenylmethane (MDI) is used primarily in the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams, binders, adhesives and low elastomers yield.Like any other product, the use of Mondur® MR in a certain application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine its reliability.

Storage
Mondur® MR polycyanate must be stored in containers hermetically sealed and protected from moisture. The processability of this material can be adversely affected by contamination. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and release gas from carbon dioxide, which can cause sealed containers to become expand and break. Recommended storage temperatures are 10° to 30°C (50° to 86°F).
