Applications
Desmophen® VP LS 2328 is used as the flexibilising component in two-component polyurethane coatings. Preferred polyol combinations are mixtures with e.g. Desmophen® VP LS 2249/1 as the hard component to achieve the desired flexibility.
Desmophen® VP LS 2328 is suitable for the formulation of highly flexible polyurethane coatings. Combination with Desmophen® VP LS 2249/1 yields systems of medium flexibility.

Solubility / thinnability
General speaking, Desmophen® VP LS 2328 has good compatibility with the solvents listed. However, the solutions formed must be tested for their storage stability.Desmophen® VP LS 2328 can be thinned with esters, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons.
Prolonged storage of solutions with a low binder content may result in turbidity and sedimentation.
Only PU grade solvents should be used (< 0.05 % water).The solvents should not contain reactive groups.
Compatibility
Generally speaking, Desmophen® VP LS 2328 is compatible with polyester-based Desmophen® products and with a number of Desmodur® grades. Desmophen® VP LS 2328 is particularly suitable for use as the polyisocyanate component.

- Recommended storage temperature: 0 - 30 °C
- Protect from moisture, heat and foreign material.
General information: The product is hygroscopic and should therefore be stored in its sealed original containers.The product is sensitive to moisture. Storage at temperatures below 0 °C will result in partially crystallisation. This crystallization is reversible by briefly heating the product without adversely affecting the quality of the product.
