Product description
Bayhydrol 140 AQ is an anionic dispersion of an aliphatic polyester urethane resin in water.
Applications
Bayhydrol 140 AQ polyurethane dispersion is suitable for many applications including adhesion promoters in metal/plastic composite structures, textile and leather coatings and primers for rigid surface coatings. The dispersion displays excellent mechanical stability.As with any product, use of Bayhydrol 140 AQ in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Storage
Bayhydrol 140 AQ should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from freezing, heat, and foreign materials. In order to maintain product uniformity, protect from freezing. The containers must be tightly closed to prevent the evaporation of water and the introduction of contaminants that can adversely affect processability. Recommended storage temperature is 5º-40ºC.
Storage time
Bayhydrol 140 AQ has a shelf life of six months from date of receipt at customer, provided the material is stored in sealed original containers at the recommended storage temperature.
Film properties
NOTE: Films are air-dried overnight at 75°F, 55% R.H. and baked for 10 minutes at 300°F before testing.
