Product description
Bayflex 950 is a water blown foam system designed for use in roto cast molding.
Applications
Bayflex 950 is a water blown foam system designed for use in roto cast molding for products such as wheel chocks. It is typically molded in the 15-25 pcf range depending on the weight and hardness required. As with any product, use of the Bayflex 950 system in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
Storage
Isocyanate Component – Component A (MDI isocyanate) should be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Storage temperature should be maintained between 10° and 30°C (50° and 86°F).Polyol Component – Component B (polyol) is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. Containers should be kept closed and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. Storage temperatures should be in the range of 15° and 38°C (59° and 100°F).Note: This polyol system will separate into phases without agitation. Therefore, it is important to mix it thoroughly prior to and during it’s use.
