General Characterization
Mondur MR is an aromatic polymeric isocyanate based on diphenylmethane-diisocyanate (MDI).
Storage Conditions
Mondur MR polyisocyanate must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from moisture. Processability of this material can be adversely affected by contamination. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Recommended storage temperatures are 10° to 30°C (50° to 86°F).
