General Characterization
Aqueous polyurethane dispersion.
Dispercoll® U 2824 is a waterborne dispersion of an anionically modified polyurethane. It is a raw material for the formulation of adhesive dispersions. Dispercoll® U 2824 contains carboxyl groups in the polymer chain that can be crosslinked with the polycarbodiimide from Desmodur® XP 2802 to produce high-quality adhesive bonds.

Storage Conditions
- Storage in original sealed Covestro container.
- Recommended storage temperature: 5 - 23 °C.
- Protect from direct sunlight, frost, heat and foreign material.
General information: The product is sensitive to frost. Freezing can damage the product irreversibly. Temperatures higher than 30 °C should be avoided. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures may affect the product properties. Containers must be kept sealed and protected from direct sunlight as otherwise the evaporation of water will result in the formation of a non-redispersible polymer film.
