Applications
With Desmodur® L as the reaction partner, Desmophen® 800 yields hard films with good chemical resistance. These coatings are also characterized by high impact resistance, toughness and abrasion resistance. As a combination polyol with Desmophen® 1100, Desmophen® 800 can be used to formulate floor coatings with high abrasion resistance.

Solubility / thinnability
Generally speaking, Desmophen® 800 has good compatibility with esters, ether esters, ketones and aromatics. However, the solutions formed must be tested for their storage stability.Prolonged storage of a solution with low binder content may result in turbidity and sedimentation.Only PU grade solvents should be used (< 0.05 % water, free from other reactive impurities).
Compatibility
Generally speaking, Desmophen® 800 is compatible with most polyester and polyether Desmophen® grades and with Desmodur® HL, IL, L and N 75.The compatibility should nevertheless be tested.
