General Characterization

Desmodur BL 5375 is a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate based on H12MDI.
It is suitable for use in combination with hydroxyl-bearing polyols, especially Desmophen® grades, to formulate lightfast one-component polyurethane stoving coatings; as an additive in conventional stoving systems to improve adhesion and flexibility.

Storage Conditions

Desmodur BL 5375 should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from moisture, heat, and foreign materials. Storage at higher temperatures will result in increase of color and viscosity. Storage at significant lower temperatures will result in solidification. This solidification is reversible by briefly heating the product without adversely affecting the quality of the product. Should the product become turbid, this can be reversed by heating. Recommended storage temperature is 0º-50ºC.
