General Characterization
Bayhydrol A 2695 is an aqueous hydroxyfunctional polyacrylic dispersion.
It shows a superior chemical resistance. The resistance can be improved by increasing the NCO/OH ratio.

Storage Conditions
Bayhydrol A 2695 should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from freezing, heat, and foreign materials. The product is sensitive to freezing. Prolonged freezing can damage the product irreversibly. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures may result in a decrease of viscosity and/or an increase of average particle size, possibly resulting in sedimentation or coagulation.
The viscosity of the product is largely governed by the pH. As the pH may decrease during storage, a decrease in viscosity is also to be expected. The viscosity can be adjusted to its original value by the addition of small amounts of an aqueous 10% solution of triethanol amine.
Storage at temperature above 25°C up to 30°C is possible without irreversibly damaging the product. The decrease of pH value and viscosity, however, might be accelerated at this temperature. The values may possibly fall below the lower limits set forth in section “specification” even within the 6 month representation period. Recommended storage temperature is greater than 0ºC-25ºC.
