Applications
Arcol E-919 polymer polyol is a 29% total solids polymer polyol for increasing the load bearing capacities of HR foams. It is based on a reactive, EO capped, triol of approximately 1,600 equivalent weight. Arcol E-919 offers good processing and formulating latitude over a wide range of dilutions with various HR base polyols. This enables the user to produce a broad range of high quality HR foam grades. As with any product, use of Arcol E-919 polyol in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.Warning: The oxidation inhibitor components in Arcol E-919 polyol may not provide adequate protection against scorch and/or fire in the production of lower density foams by a slabstock or box machine process. If used in the production of such foam, the user needs to insure that adequate oxidation inhibitor is added (through diluent polyol or direct addition) to safely produce the intended foam grades.

Storage
Arcol E-919 polyol is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. Containers should be kept tightly closed and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect product quality. This polyol can become quite viscous at low temperatures. For ease of handling, storage temperatures between 20°C (68°F) and 60°C (140°F) are recommended. The shelf life is twelve months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
