Since the HI-Care E 2-tier cart is used in hospitals, it’s frequently decontaminated with harsh chemical cleaners. As a reliable supplier of medical-grade polycarbonates, we helped Howard Technology Solutions find the right chemical-resistant material that can stand up against these disinfectants.
Our lightweight Makroblend® M525 PC+polyester blend delivers necessary chemical resistance and toughness to several parts on the HI-Care E 2-tier cart base and work surface. This polycarbonate blend is also biocompatible according to ISO 10993-5 and ISO 10993-10 for contact with uncompromised skin only.
