Bayfol® CR films are extruded thermoplastic films made from a polymer blend consisting of Polycarbonate (PC) and Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The advantages of Bayfol CR are better resistance to the influence of chemicals, excellent formability and a higher dynamic strength.

Key properties:
• High resistance to chemicals
• Excellent for cold forming between 23 and 100 °C,
• Good ink adhesion e.g. for screen printing
• Good punching characteristic
• Long term temperature stability up to 100 °C
• Thickness range: 125 to 500 microns
• Surface quality: gloss/gloss or gloss/fine matte

Bayfol® LR refers to latent reactive adhesive films that offer exceptional bonding capabilities across diverse applications while maintaining efficiency and reliability.

Bayfol® LR 5902 is dry, i.e. non-tacky at room temperature, solvent-free, and forms irreversible cross-linked bonds after heat-activation.

The resulting chemical bonding is permanent and irreversible, creating an extremely durable connection that not only withstands low and high temperatures and aggressive chemicals, but is also resistant to decomposition and hydrolysis.

• Excellent adhesion strength across a variety of board materials 
• Fast curing with long-lasting durability 
• Excellent resistance to chemicals, aging, and hydrolysis 
• Low processing temperature and short processing time 
• Ability to bond complex designs (curved/irregular shapes) 
• Minimal glue overflow and small thickness deviation 
• Solvent-free processed on releaser liner (standard: silicon paper)
• Variety of standard weight per unit area

Bayfol® MA is a multi-layer film designed for orthopedic implant or other medical packaging. Its soft inner side protects implant surfaces from abrasion, while the robust outer shell guards against shocks during handling and transportation.

Excellent inter-layer bonding prevents delamination over the packaging's lifetime, and the film remains easy to thermoform.

• Multi-layer film with one soft, one hard side 
• Outstanding resistance to cracks, puncture and abrasion 
• ISO 10993-5 and USP Class VI compliant 
• Excellent processibility (thermoforming) 
• Sterilizable (by EtO, Gamma)
