General Characterization
Bayhydrol® UH 2894 is a rubber-elastic binder for waterborne coatings with excellent stone-chip-resistance. It can be used in automotive primer surfacers, stone chip resistant coatings, water-reducible basecoats for automotive OEM / refinish applications, plastics as well as industrial coatings.
Storage Conditions
- Store in original sealed Covestro container.
- Recommended storage temperature: 5 - 30 °C.
- Protect from frost, heat and foreign material.
General information: The product cannot be used if it has been frozen. The containers must be fully closed to prevent the evaporation of water which may result in the formation of a non-redispersible film. Brief heating to max. 50 °C has no adverse effect on product properties.
