General Characterization
Bayhydrol UH 240 is an aliphatic, anionic polyester-polyurethane dispersion.
It is suitable as a combination binder in the formulation of highly flexible, water-thinnable, air- and force-drying primers and one-coat finishes for use on plastics.

Storage Conditions
Bayhydrol UH 240 should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from freezing, heat, and foreign materials. An increase in viscosity may occur during storage. If the containers are not sealed properly, the evaporation of water will result in the formation of a film which cannot be redispersed. The product is sensitive to freezing. Freezing will damage the product irreversibly. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures may result in a decrease of viscosity and/or an increase of average particle size, possibly resulting in sedimentation or coagulation. Recommended storage temperature is 5º-40ºC.
