Storage

- Storage in original sealed Covestro container. - Recommended storage temperature: 10 - 25 °C. - Protect from frost, heat and foreign material. General information: This product is sensitive to frost, and must be protected from cold. Frozen product is irreversibly damaged. Containers must be kept sealed as otherwise the evaporation of water will result in the formation of a non-redispersible film. Due to the process, the product can tend toward subsequent creaming. This manifests in the form of a very thin, brown layer which after some time becomes visible on the surface of the product. Prior homogenization of the product using a suitable stirrer is recommended each time product is removed from the container.

Storage time

Covestro certifies that the product meets specifications for {{storageTimeWarrantyInMonths}} from the date of shipment, provided it is stored and handled in accordance with the conditions specified in the ‘Storage’ section. After this period, product performance is not assured; Customers are responsible for retesting material before use. Covestro assumes no liability for product performance after {{storageTimeWarrantyInMonths}}.

Covestro represents that, for a period of six months following the day of shipment as stated in the respective transport documents, the product will meet the specifications or values set forth in section "specifications or characteristic data" above, what ever is applicable, provided that the product is stored in full compliance with the storage conditions set forth in and referenced under section "storage" above and is otherwise handled appropriately. The lapse of the six months period does not necessarily mean that the product no longer meets specifications or the set values. However, prior to using said product, Covestro recommends to test such a product if it still meets the specifications or the set values. Covestro does not make any representation regarding the product after the lapse of the six months period and Covestro shall not be responsible or liable in any way for the product failing to meet specifications or the set values after the lapse of the six months period.

Processing

The pH of Dispercoll® C can decrease during storage. To ensure a reproducible application process, adjusting the pH to a consistent value using 10 % potassium hydroxide solution is recommended.
