General Characterization
Baymedix AP501 is an aliphatic NCO-terminated prepolymer based on hexamethylene diisocyanate.
Storage Conditions
Baymedix AP501 should be stored in tightly sealed containers and protected from heat, moisture and foreign materials. Recommended storage temperatures are between 10°C and 30°C.
The product is highly sensitive to moisture and reacts with water to form carbon dioxide and insoluble ureas. The containers must always be kept tightly closed. Water in any form (moist air, water-containing solvents, wet containers) must be prevented from gaining access. A dangerous build-up of pressure can occur through the generation of carbon dioxide.
