General Characterization
Desmodur® ultra RN is a polyisocyanurate solution comprised of aliphatic and aromatic NCO groups in ethyl acetate. It is suitable for crosslinking adhesives based on Desmocoll® and works well on both natural and synthetic rubbers. Desmodur ultra RN also performs well when used in conjunction with lighter-colored rubber bonding adhesives as it forms bonds that undergo minimal discoloration upon exposure to light.
Storage Conditions
-Store in original sealed Covestro container.
-Recommended storage temperature: 10 - 30 °C.
-Protect from moisture, heat and foreign material contaimination.
General information. This product is highly sensitive to moisture and will readily react with water to form carbon dioxide and insoluable ureas. The containers therefore must be kept tightly sealed. The ingress of water in any form (damp containers, anhydrous solvents, moist air, ect) must be prevented as carbon dioxide formation may cause a dangerous internal pressure increase in the containers. Exposure to air and / or light can increase discoloration.
