General Characterization
Baytec EDG-070D is a two-component, one-shot system which yields a solid polyurethane elastomer.
Storage Conditions
Isocyanate Component -The isocyanate component must be stored in tightly sealed containers to prevent contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Recommended storage temperature is between -34°C and 50°C (-30°F and 122°F). Shelf life is approximately six months after receipt of product by customer, when stored in closed original containers at 25°C (77°F).
Polyol Component - The polyol component is hygroscopic and containers must be kept closed to prevent absorption of moisture, which can adversely affect processing Storage temperature should be maintained between 15°C and 43°C (59°F and 110°F). Shelf life is six months when stored in original containers at 25°C (77°F).
