General Characterization
Modified waterborne polyurethane dispersion specifically suitable for non-polar surface, e.g. PE, PP substrates. Provides direct adhesion to non-polar surfaces without pre-treatments, such as primer, flame, plasma, etc.
Storage Conditions
Bayhydrol UO 1711 should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from freezing, heat, and foreign materials. An increase in viscosity may occur during storage. If the containers are not sealed properly, the evaporation of water will result in the formation of a film which cannot be redispersed. The product is sensitive to freezing. Freezing will damage the product irreversibly. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures may result in a decrease of viscosity and/or an increase of average particle size, possibly resulting in sedimentation or coagulation. Recommended storage temperature is 5º-23ºC.
