General Characterization
Bayhydrol 124 is an anionic aliphatic polycarbonate polyurethane dispersion. It is suitable as a binder for ambient-cure or bake coatings.
Storage Conditions
Bayhydrol 124 should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from freezing, heat, and foreign materials. Bayhydrol 124 polyurethane dispersion must be stored in tightly closed containers to prevent evaporation of water and the introduction of contaminants that can adversely affect processability. The product is sensitive to freezing. Freezing will damage the product irreversibly. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures may result in a decrease of viscosity and/or an increase of average particle size, possibly resulting in sedimentation or coagulation. Recommended storage temperature is 5º-40ºC.
