General Characterization
Mondur 445 is a toluene diisocyanate (TDI)/polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) blend.
Storage Conditions
Mondur 445 polyisocyanate must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Recommended storage temperatures are 21° to 32°C (70° to 90°F).
The shelf life is twelve months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
