General Characterization
Desmophen® 84WB83 is a polyol formulation (copolyol) for the production of flame bondable polyether PU slabstock foams. 15 pbw Desmophen® 84WB83 are generally added per 100 pbw polyol. Arcol® Polyol 1108 or a combination of Arcol® Polyol 1108 and Arcol® Polyol 1159 is recommended as the basic polyether polyol component.
Desmophen® 84WB83 can also be used as a modifying component in polyester polyurethane formulations (e.g. to improve elongation at break). 10 pbw Desmophen® 84WB83 are generally added per 100 pbw polyester polyol in polyester polyurethane formulations.
