General Characterization
Baytec SPR-365 is a two-component spray system with a Shore hardness of 50-55D.*
Storage Conditions
Isocyanate Component: Component A (MDI isocyanate) should be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Storage temperature should be maintained between 10° and 30°C (50° and 86°F).
Polyol Component: Component B (polyol) is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. Containers should be kept closed and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. Storage temperatures should be in the range of 15° and 38°C (59° and 100°F). Note: This polyol system will separate into phases without agitation. Therefore, it is important to mix it thoroughly prior to and during its use.
