General Characterization
Baytec SPR-085A is a two-component, 100%-solids spray system with a Shore A hardness of 85*.
Storage Conditions
Isocyanate Component — Original containers must be kept tightly closed to prevent contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. The isocyanate component will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Recommended storage temperature is between 15°C to 35°C (59°F to 95°F). Shelf life is six months after receipt of product by customer, when stored in closed, original containers at 25°C (77°F).
Polyol Component — The polyol component is hygroscopic, and containers must be kept closed to prevent absorption of moisture, which can adversely affect processing. Storage should be maintained between 10°C to 45°C (50°F to 113°F). Shelf life is 6 months when stored in closed, original containers at 25°C (77°F).
