General Characterization
Desmophen® C 2202 is a linear aliphatic polycarbonate diol with terminal hydroxyl groups and an average molecular weight of approx. 2,000 g/mol. At room temperature the product is a solid, white to light yellow substance. In a molten state (at temperatures above 55 °C), it is clear liquid. Desmophen® C 2202 is used to manufacture solid Polyurethane elastomers. Elastomers having a good resistance against hydrolysis and hot air.
