Desmophen® 2450 X - for flexible slabstock foams

A branched polyester based on adipic acid, phthalic acid, propylene glycol and glycerine. At room temperature the product is a highly viscous, slightly yellowish liquid. It is used to manufacture either semi-rigid polyurethane slabstock foams or foams with enhanced hardness. Hydroxyl Number ca. 215 mg KOH/g

General Characterization

DESMOPHEN® 2450 X, based on glycerine as branching component, is a highly viscous, slightly yellowish liquid at ambient temperature. It is used to manufacture either semi-rigid polyurethane slabstock foams or foams with enhanced hardness.

Storage Conditions

Recommended storage temperature (°C): 20 - 35
Shelf life (ex works)
12 months if stored in sealed, moisture-tight containers
Partially used containers should be tightly resealed due to the hygroscopic nature of the product.
Recommended temperature for processing (°C): 20 - 25.

Sampling

Moisture access must be prevented when taking product samples.
