Storage
Recommended storage temperature (°C): 20 – 40Shelf life (ex works) 6 months if stored in sealed, moisture-tight containersPartially used containers should be tightly resealed due to the hygroscopic nature of the product.Recommended temperature for processing (°C): 20 - 40.
Processing
Desmodur® VP.PU 10WB21 reacts with moisture causing polyurea layers within the mixing tools, which have to be removed mechanically from time to time. The viscosity of the Desmodur® TP.PU 10WB21 might increase depending on storage time and temperature. This viscosity increase does not limit the processability of the product according to our experience.Desmodur® TP.PU 10WB21 can partly crystallize at a temperature below 15 °C. The product can be warmed up for a short period of time to a temperature of approx. 50 °C in order liquefy it again.
