General Characterization
DESMODUR® SWN is a liquid, modified mixture of diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate (MDI) with isomers and homologues of higher functionality. It can be used in combination with polyols for the production of polyurethanes.
Storage Conditions
Storage temperature: 15 - 30 °C
Shelf life: 6 months
Like all isocyanates, DESMODUR® SWN reacts with water and should therefore be protected against moisture. The product is also sensitive to frost and may undergo partial crystallisation if exposed to temperatures below 0°C.
