General Characterization
Desmodur E 20100 is a modified polyisocyanate prepolymer based on diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI).
It is suitable as a binder for the formulation of injection resins for sealing water-conveying cracks in structures above and below ground.
It is suitable as a binder for the formulation of injection resins for sealing water-conveying cracks in structures above and below ground.
Storage Conditions
Desmodur E 20100 should be stored in tightly sealed original containers and protected from moisture, heat, and foreign materials. The product must be stored in airtight containers. Contact with atmospheric moisture causes a reaction which results first in an increase in viscosity and ultimately in gelling. As storage at elevated temperatures also results in an increase in viscosity, the product should be stored in a cool place. At temperatures below 0°C, the product may crystallize partially. However, the crystals can be remelted by careful heating. Recommended storage temperature is 10º-30ºC.
