General Characterization
The system is composed of the polyol Baynat® 2505 Acoustic and the Baynat® 0759 BX isocyanate, this system to be reacted is used for the production of rigid polyurethane foam in blocks with approximate density of 22 kg/m3.
The rigid thermoformable foam of Baynat® 2505 acoustic has a excellent dimensional stability properties, homogeneous and consistent cell structure as well as a high content of open cell that gives the foam excellent acoustic properties.
Baynat® foam is used mainly in sandwich constructions, in comination with layers of fiber covers and decorative material, for the manufacture of automotive awnings providing excellent characteristics to the final piece.

Storage Conditions
The Baynat® 2505 Acoustic component B is slightly hygroscopic (can absorb water), so the containers must be hermetically sealed to prevent the passage of moisture, or foreign materials that may affect the performance of the material in a negative way. The masimum recommended temperature for storage is 50 °C (122 °F). The material in the containers must be stirred previously for 2 hours before use.
Isocyanate component A Baynat® 0759 BX isocyanate must be stored in hermetically sealed containers and protected from moisture and foreign materials, which may adversaly affect the process. Storage temperatures should be maintained at 21 °C to 30 °C (70°F to 86°F).
