General Characterization
Baynat 0759 BX polyurethane foam system is used in automotive headliner applications.
Storage Conditions
Component A (polymeric MDI) must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate CO2 gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Component A should be stored at temperatures between 18° and 30°C (64° and 86°F).
Component B (polyether polyol) is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. It must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. Component B should be stored at ambient temperatures.
