Pittsburgh, PA, March 26, 2018 — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the American Chemistry Council (ACC) established a two-year alliance on September 13, 2017 to raise awareness of occupational exposure to diisocyanates, and promote safe practices for their use in the polyurethane industry. The first work product developed through the Alliance has now been released: “General Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Recommendations for Automotive Refinish Coating Applications”. This infographic provides PPE recommendations for the automotive refinish market with a focus on isocyanates in automotive coating applications.
