Principal properties
Uraflex® EU103 M4 can be used in plastic coatings such as clear and pigmented coatings for PVC, PA, PUR foam, in mould coatings. Automotive metallic basecoats for plastics. Uraflex® EU103 M4 provides mechanical properties and yellowing resistance.Uraflex resins are high molecular weight polymers with a limited solubility. This limited solubility could result in partial separation of the resin during storage especially at low temperatures. This separation is a reversible process and the resin can be homogenised easily by mixing at slightly elevated temperatures. Pigmentation, with the usual equipment and additives can be done, directly into Uraflex® EU103 M4. Compatibility with other binders is very limited. Only alcohol soluble cellulose nitrate types are compatible in certain ratios. For thinning down the following blends are recommended: alcohol/aromatic hydrocarbons, glycol ethers/aromatic solvents. Base coats can be formulated without CAB

Uraflex® EU103 M4 is dillutable with Methyl ethyl ketine, limited dilutable with ethanol, isopropanol n-butanol, Xylene/Solvent naphtha 100 and Methyld isobutyl ketone. insolubale in ethyl acetate and 1-methoxy 2-propyl acetate
Storage
The resin should be stored indoors in the original, unopened and undamaged containers in a dry place at storage temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided
