Mondur MR-Light is an aromatic polymeric isocyanate based on diphenylmethane-diisocyanate (MDI).

Applications
Mondur MR-Light polyisocyanate is used primarily in the manufacture of rigid polyurethane foams, binders, adhesives, and low duty elastomers. As with any product, use of Mondur MR-Light in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Storage
Mondur MR-Light polyisocyanate must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from moisture. Processability of this material can be adversely affected by contamination. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Recommended storage temperatures are 10° to 30°C (50° to 86°F). The shelf life is six months after receipt of material by customer, when stored in sealed original containers under conditions stated above.
