Applications
Baytec ENC-88 is a polymeric diphenylmethane diisocyanate (PMDI) that is used in the manufacture of polyurethane encapsulants, binders, adhesives, and elastomers. As with any product, use of Baytec ENC-88 isocyanate in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

Storage
Baytec ENC-88 isocyanate must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate CO2 gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Storage temperatures should be maintained between 18°C and 30°C (64°F and 86°F).
