Storage
Mondur MRS 4 isocyanate must be stored in tightly closed containers and protected from contamination with moisture and foreign materials, which can adversely affect processing. It will react slowly with water to form polyureas and liberate carbon dioxide gas, which may cause sealed containers to expand and rupture. Recommended storage temperatures are 10° to 30°C (50° to 86°F). The shelf life is six months after receipt of product by customer, when stored in closed original containers and stored under the recommended conditions.
