Product description
Baytec 32513 is a filled, non-foaming polyurethane potting adhesiver system.
Applications
Baytec 32513 system exhibits good adhesion to a variety of clean metal substrates with no need for a primer. It exhibits resistance to common motor and hydraulic oils, including phosphate ester synthetics. Baytec 32513 system can be easily mixed using a static mixer, and reacts quickly at room temperature. As with any product, use of Baytec 32513 system in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability for use.
Storage
Avoid moisture contamination during storage, handling and processing. For both components, pad containers with either nitrogen or dry air (desiccant cartridge or air dryer at -40°C (-40°F) dew point). Store polyol component from 18°C to 30°C (64°F to 86°F). Mix polyol component to a homogenous state before use and before removing any material from container. For optimum shelf life, the recommended storage temperature for the isocyanate component is 18°C to 30°C (64°F to 86°F). Do not expose isocyanate component to lowers temperatures – material becomes viscous, freezing may occur.
Storage time
Shelf life is 6 months if stored in factory sealed containers.
Processing
Mix Polyol Component B before use and before removing any material from container, but avoid air entrainment. Polyol Component B contains solids. Cycle time depends onsubstrate and curing temperature. Protect Isocyanate Component A from moisture.
