To give Team Sonnenwagen Aachen a competitive finish in the World Solar Challenge 2025, Lechler partnered with Covestro to co-develop an automotive refinish coating using our Pasquick® technology. This scalable solution accelerates application processes, enhances durability, and supports energy-efficient ambient cures, meeting the growing demand for high-performance refinish solutions in today’s market.

Sirca needed a more sustainable, high-quality kitchen furniture lacquer, but traditional water-based coatings were too slow, and solvent-based options failed to meet low-VOC requirements. By partnering with Covestro and using the Bayhydur® quix ultra hardener, the company created a fast-drying, water-based lacquer. This new system helped deliver a durable, more sustainable, and visually appealing finish without sacrificing production efficiency.

Delta Coatings needed to build one of Dubai’s biggest man-made lagoons in an extremely high-profile project – but timing was tight. Using our aliphatic polyurea elastomeric coating technology, they achieved excellent protective properties for the shoreline, including waterproofing and UV stability, helping to ensure long-lasting durability. Plus, they managed speedy application thanks to fast-curing materials with fewer layers.

From car-sharing to hot-desking, society is looking to increase productivity through shared spaces. Those spaces need to be able to withstand high usage whilst ensuring hygienic conditions without compromising on sustainability. That’s why we partnered with Heraeus Precious Metals to combine their AGXX anti-microbial technology with our waterborne INSQIN® polyurethane textile coatings. The result? Coated textile surfaces that are not only more sustainable but also regulatory compliant, more durable and hygienic.
