Pushing boundaries in ID document innovations
The counterfeiting of state driver's licenses poses an imminent threat to national security. It enables identity theft and fraud against businesses, banks, and individuals, and also causes immense financial damage to state and federal governments.
To avert this threat, such ID documents need integrated security features, ideally incorporated in different stages of the document creation process. This can begin from the film substrate material itself and up to the actual document personalization process such as laser engraving.
