The highlights at our booth included:
- A smart patch for early detection of ostomy bag leaks, developed together with Witte Technology GmbH and Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG.
- Smart EMG wearable patches for biosignal acquisition made with Platilon® 5302 MR7X, courtesy of Nile AB (Linxens Healthcare)
- TPU substrate with excellent printability for silver-ink printing, enhancing conductivity and device accuracy for humid environments and 24/7-worn medical devices
- Key applications seen in HMI in automotive and electronics design enabled by in-mold electronics (IME)
- Makrolon® and Makrofol® showcasing smart surfaces (Nighthawk), demo, jointly developed with TactoTek®, made from materials meeting tomorrow’s design, sustainability, and technology needs
- An innovative large area lighting demo, called ‘Jenny’, pioneered by our partners TactoTek® and Novem GmbH, featuring real wood laminate with triangular openings for light, with structure layers integrated with Makrofol® films, in-molded LED matrix, clear and diffusive Makrolon® PC overmolds and wood.
- A LiDAR sensor cover lens made of Makrolon® AG polycarbonate resin with an integrated film heater on Makrofol® PC film demonstrator, engineered with Canatu.
