The BAYMER® K1114 is a polyol formulation to be used together with DESMODUR® 44V20 L in order to produce rigid polyurethane foam by pouring. This system is used to various metalic constructions e.g. solar boilers.
This polyol formulation contains HFC365mfc/227ea mixture and HFC-245FA/PRESSURIZED as main blowing agent and water as co-blowing agent, which gives environmental friendly foam with an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of zero. The use of HFCs gives improved thermal insulation properties.
The system is appropriate to be used also with the so called "hand mixing" method.
When correctly processed, rigid polyurethane foams based on polyol BAYMER® K1114 can achieve the reaction to fire classification of Euroclass F according to the european standard EN 13501-1:2002.
