Digital Coatings – What is new in the world of digitally applied polyurethane raw materials?

Digital printing is increasingly developing into an alternative application technology for coatings. Benefits are obvious: no overspray, automation and the possibility to customize properties on a dot-per-dot scale, only to name a few. Reasons why digital application of coatings is still in the development phase are related to the different material demands of readily available digital applicators e.g. piezo Inkjet and Valvejet. In this talk we will give an overview about Covestro’s latest developments regarding the digital application of coating materials in the field of automotive and textile.
