More sustainable plant protection
Our tailor-made coating solutions enable seed manufacturers to add value to their seeds in a variety of ways. Such as increasing the flowability of the seeds and increasing speed in handling and sowing. Our coating products are used to apply plant protection products to the seeds. These products protect the seed during germination and in the early growth stage in the field or greenhouse. It is proven that applying crop protection products on seeds reduces later usage in the field by up to 85%. Using our product enables these results, and helps farmers to contribute to more sustainable farming. Due to their high binding capacity, our filmcoats prevent dust-off, and this allows plant protection products to stick safely to the seed.
Due to the natural characteristics of our seed coatings, our products are perfectly designed for use in organic farming. We expect to have our coating products officially registered as organic certified before the end of spring 2019.
Tailor-made solutions
Our customized coating solutions enable seed manufacturers to add value to their customers in a variety of ways. As well as our standard colors – red, orange, green, blue, yellow – we offer tailor-made color options to enhance seed flowability, seed visibility in the soil, as well as meet specific branding needs. This means seeds can stand out in more ways than one.
We also offer filmcoats that can be applied as a final color layer on your encrusted and pelleted seeds, and binders for encrusting and pelleting. Our binder for the vegetable seed segment is FiBL and SKAL (organic) certified.
