General Characterization

Dispercoll® U64 is an anionic, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion used in the production of water-based thermally activated adhesives as well as contact adhesives. This product is particulary suitable for 2-component spray coagulation processes, where the surface joining process is performed while the material is still wet and immediately after the adhesive application, as in foam bonding.

Storage Conditions

- Store in original sealed Covestro containers.
- Recommended storage temperature: 5° - 23° C (41° - 73° F), temperatures higher than 30° C (86° F) should be avoided.
- Protect from direct sunlight, freezing temperatures, excessive heat and foreign material contamination.
General information: This material is sensitive to freezing temperatures. Allowing this material to freeze can damage the product irreversibly. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures may affect the product properties and possibly may result in sedimentation or coagulation. Containers must be kept sealed and protected from direct sunlight as the evaporation of water will result in the formation of a non-redispersible film. Contamination with certain bacteria, fungi or algae may render the product unusable.
