General Characterization
BAYTHERM® GF-38 is a polyol formulation to be used together with DESMODUR® 44V20 L in order to produce rigid polyurethane foam by pouring. This system is used for thermal insulation to various metalic constructions by discontinuous procedure.
BAYTHERM® GF-38 contains at least one of the followings HFC´s: HFC-134a, HFC-227ea, HFC-365mfc, HFC-245fa.
When correctly processed, rigid polyurethane foams based on polyol BAYTHERM® GF-38 can achieve the reaction to fire classification of Euroclass F according to the european standard EN 13501-1:2002.
Storage Conditions
Polyol can absorb moisture from the air. Keep the container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Store at 20°C and keep away from food and other feeding stuff.
Sampling
The polyol formulation should be homogenised before samples are taken. Moisture access must be prevented.
Packaging Type
Drums (230kg).
